Hi Y’all!

Don’t worry about that ol’ ‘gator.  They are part of the reason I have to practice “leave it” and my recall on a daily basis.  The other part are snakes which are part of life in the mountains and at the shore.  My Humans use Sulfur here at the shore to keep snakes away.

While the azaleas are fading and leaves have replaced the wisteria and dogwood flowers other things are waiting to bloom.  There are several kinds of magnolias.  The ones that get the big white saucer shaped flowers are just budding out.

Look how well the Great Blue Heron blends into his background.  He is perched on a sign that warns people that our property is a wildlife protected area, as are the neighboring properties.

Remember when I was rolling my ball into the water?  These ducks are what my Human was busy photographing.

Then, when we were heading inside I stopped to check out “Grandfather’s Beard”, shown in the photo below.

Later, once more outside, we watched this egret spy his dinner.  Then raise his head to display his catch (the picture below)

Don’t these two in the picture below remind you of a couple hurrying through town on their way to an appointment?

As the sun fades…

I leave you with this sunset.

  3. What wonderful pictures! We lived next to a nature preserve when we lived in Boise, but there wasn't much of a water feature. It looks like a prety special place to be!

And I bet your snakes are poisonous. Fortunately, they aren't where we live! Especially since Sage's "leave it" resulted in a "roll on it"!
