Windy Wednesday’s Weather Dog

Hi Y’all!

It sounds like winter winds howling outside!

Do y’all remember my forecast back on March 23rd?  I predicted a late frost and colder than normal April.  The late frost has already happened and we are scheduled for a couple more nights below freezing this week.  We might even get a couple of snow flurries!  So my friends, the 2 brown dawgs, you are not alone!

Let me get on up this mountain side so I can see forever and see what’s comin’!

Well, almost forever…

Y’all come back now.

  1. Wow - nights below freezing? I thought our weather report said tomorrow night might temps may be in the 30's. How strange - now we have to unpack a jacket or two again! Nina, Myshka, and Sasha will love it!

Climbing those mountains sure looks fun!

    1. Hi Y'all,

Thanks for telling me about the problem. I can no longer get the hop to post in my blog. I'm thinking of changing the blog style again, although I lose a lot of statistics.

  3. Hawk you've been better at predicting the weather than the weatherman! We had a pretty cold night last night but thankfully no snow like they said. Whew! Your mountain view really does go on for ever. Beautiful!

    1. Hi Y'all,

The air here is so dry we didn't get the flurries. Frost again tonight, but the 40mph winds should settle down.

  4. Beautiful pictures. You were right. We had a freeze last night and snow showers yesterday...ugg.

On another note. I don't know why, but whenever I click over here from google reader, it goes to the post page, but then clicks right over to a linky page. I have a hard time getting back to the post page. Strange.

    2. Hi Y'all,

Bichonpawz said the same is happening to them. They found my eyes on linky to get back. Guess we're lookin' at another change in the blog. My Human will be bald by the time we get this straightened out...if we ever do.

The air turned too dry for the flurries, but the 40mph winds! Still blowin'!

  11. Sounds like you brown dogs are pretty good meteorologists. Are you related to the wooly bear caterpillars? We use them for all our weather news.

Thank you so much for the compliment! I get told how good I am. My Human Papa sometimes tells me I'm handsome. Wow! Thanks again!

Here in the southeastern mountains it only reached about 49F with 40mph winds.

  16. I had a feeling you were right about that forecast--Farmer Almanac couldn't have done any better! We had cold and rain mixed with a little bit of snow. I think it's going to be a 3 dog night for us...again!!

    Stay warm!! :-)

  17. Hey Hawk, Jet here.

We do remember your forecast... you should apply for a weatherdog position on tv... does that mean your apples will have problems? I think you mentioned worrying about a fruit crop...
