Fit as a Fiddle

Hi Y’all!

P1360411

It’s a typical summer day in the south.  Everyone and everything moves slowly…that is when they move at all.  By midday not even a self respecting bird can be heard…or seen.

Early morning before the sun forces the temps out of the 70’s and into their ritual climb I manage to get some exercise and have some fun!

  4. Good thinking Hawk. We've only had one short stretch of hot weather so far this summer, but when we get it, we try and get out before 8am. Thanks for joining the Hop.

  5. So right, in the afternoon it's siestas on the cool tile floor, so morning walks. This week it's become quite cool though, but it won't last will it? Love love love your lilies!

  8. Barley and I admire you, Hawk! We just got back from a week and 1/2 in Alabama and had several days with the temps around 90--we had to get up early to get even a short walk in and then we lounged around the rest of the day! We were very happy to come home and find highs of 70 this week :)

  9. Great idea to get your exercise in before it gets hot. You could always go swimming.

  10. Watch the heat
    it can ruin your feet
    and make you cranky
    so no hanky panky!!
